The
Department of Political Science is co-host of a conference
to be held Monday, October 31,
and Tuesday, November 1, at the McGregor Conference
Center. The title of the conference is
Creating Collaborative Communities. The conference
will examine opportunities for local
governments to reduce costs and improve the delivery of
services through developing various
cooperative relationships with other local

Provost, Dr. Nancy Barrett, has designated the
Department of Political Science for
enhancement. As a result of this initiative, the Department
has recruited four new faculty
members, who started Fall semester, 2005.
