    Research interests:


  • Chinese syntax, for example: dou quantification, case marking in ba structure, complex predicates, A not A questions, negation, and the adjectival intensifier hen, etc..
  • First and second language acquisitions of Chinese, for example: L1A of Mandarin classifiers, aspects, and modals, SLA of Mandarin reflexives and obligatory pro drop, etc..
  • Chinese pedagogy, for example: the teaching of writing and listening, classroom teacher student interaction, prompting, and error analyses, etc..

Teaching:

  • I teach Chinese languages classes of all levels I also teach the following classes regularly:
